If you’re feeling the economic pinch and you are currently researching the subject of electric generator kits just read on for the real scoop – you are going to find it most ‘enlightening.’ What if i told you that you can produce more than enough electrical power to run every appliance in your home, all by yourself, and almost for free – too good to be true? I suggest you read on and get the full story.

The average person buys all of their energy from the electric company; they proceed to dutifully pay unreasonable bills while wondering why they have to waste so much money on something like electricity. However, there are the lucky (or smart) ones who found an excellent alternative; they didn’t want to live that way, they discovered a way of generating their own power – as much as they want – for the rest of their lives.

Before you get more information about electric generator kits take into consideration the fact that anyone can easily get set up with this; you can be up and running and saving money with your new energy system right away – it mostly requires your motivation to do so. So you’re probably eager to get in on all the details as to what is involved here; well all this can be achieved by converting renewable energy sources that are right ‘under our nose’ into free electricity. No matter who it is, would you believe that they can make a personal energy generator using sun and wind power with little time or effort without even leaving their property?

Even if you’re probably just curious about electric generator kits hopefully you now realize how easy it is to construct your own solar panels or windmill – a system that can actually decrease your electric bills by as much as 100%! This might sound like a very difficult and very costly process; i’m pleased to report that this is no longer the case – on our side we have a leading professional in the area of solar and wind technology who ‘cracked the code’ that enables anyone to do that.

The Importance And Benefits Of High Fuel Economy

Gas prices continue to increase, with no end in sight. This trend further accentuates the need for every human to purchase more fuel efficient cars. Having an automobile with good fuel economy is not only helpful in saving money, but it is also an integral part of repairing the environment.

The official definition of fuel economy is how much gas is needed to move a certain distance. In the United States, fuel economy is measured in miles per gallon, while in the rest of the world, it is mostly calculated in liters per one hundred kilometers. These measuring systems vary greatly; a higher number in the US system is optimal, while a lower number is desired in the metric system (the lower the number, the lower the amount of fuel needed to travel one hundred kilometers).

Governments are taking notice of the importance of fuel economy, and are establishing guidelines which will regulate efficiency in the future. The European Union has decided that, starting in 2012, gasoline cars must have at least a 47mpg rating, and diesel cars must have at least a 52mpg rating. The United States currently taxes vehicles that do not adhere to environmental standards, as a means of discouraging their production. These taxes and penalties are expected to increase drastically within the next few years.

Engineers are constantly working to find ways to increase the fuel efficiency of vehicles. Several factors affect fuel economy, so it is a matter of altering those factors to produce better efficiency. The weight of a car is one of the biggest factors in fuel economy, so engineers are always trying to make cars lighter.

This can be done through replacing traditional materials, such as iron, with alternative options like carbon fiber. Wind resistance and drag require cars to exert energy to overcome them, so vehicles that are designed to experience these factors minimally have better fuel economies. Anything that can increase or save energy is beneficial. For example, shutting off the engine while the car is stopped saves energy.

Improving the efficiency of engine combustion is a key factor. Most engines only exploit 10-20% of the energy released from burning fuel; the rest is lost to heat and other forms of energy. Fuel cells are so desirable because up to 80% of their produced energy can be directly utilized. Different types of combustion, such as lean burn and HCCI combustion are being tested to identify what method is most efficient.

Average consumers can play their part in increasing the fuel economy of their vehicles. Fuel efficiency increasing products are popular in the market right now, but most of them do not actually improve efficiency at all. Simple things, like keeping the air pressure in tires high, and slowly accelerating and decelerating, can expand a vehicle’s rating a fair degree.

Hybrid cars are the best option currently for those who want speed and great fuel economy. These models combine electrical and gasoline engine components to create something which does not feel like an electric car at all. Hybrid vehicles recapture wasted energy during breaking, shut off gasoline power during idle periods, and utilize gas and electric power simultaneously to reduce the total amount of fuel consumed. All of these factors combined result in fuel ratings of over 50mpg, as well as lower emissions.

    Americas Unnecessary Energy Crisis

It?s my belief that if it was not for mistaken left wing politics the US could be a comparative utopia compared to what it has become. In this article I would like to restrict myself to the energy aspects of the problems created by the left. It?s not that conservatives have exactly been doing what was necessary to solve our energy problems either, but I see the real blame coming from mistaken left wing thinking. Let?s go back to say 1970 and examine what we should have done differently starting then.

First, we should have invested in and built a nuclear grid capable of supplying power for residential and commercial purposes, and capable of powering an electric transportation grid. Had we done this we could have become completely independent of foreign oil by the year 2,000. We would be using clean, efficient, and abundant nuclear energy. Almost zero CO2, no global warming, no air pollution, and all the energy we needed.

Currently, generation IV nuclear power plants are being designed. We should have invested more and sooner in these new technologies. This new generation of power plants improves disposal issues by reusing fuel. This also solves the fuel supply issue. The Chinese have already contracted with Westinghouse to build at least 4 AP1000 nuclear plants, and they are now ahead of us in implementing this vital technology. The plants offer several advantages over previous generations of nuclear power including that they are ?non proliferation? and do not require refueling for 30 years. The plants include ?passive safety? which means they shut down without human intervention if necessary, (which is supposed to be exceedingly unlikely). The plant design is much smaller and simple compared to previous generations.

Second, we should be using alternative modes of transportation. I see a world where transportation occurs without dependence on oil. I envision using electric: motorcycles, cars, trucks and trains, and supplementing this with ultralight aircraft and even larger aircraft such as the Aeroscraft. It?s a complete solution that could be implemented with technology available since before 1970.

My thesis of why we have not yet made these changes is that the left corruptly avoids actual solutions to problems that form core components of their political agenda. This is a key idea. It?s sort of like oil companies that supposedly block the production of electric cars. The left doesn?t want a solution because they want to mandate regulations. They want to be in charge of businesses and enforce an eco-lifestyle. They want endless cadres of bureaucrats deciding on how energy is to be used, and they want to be able to blame ?wasteful businesses? and ?big oil?. Controlling energy is an important component of the left wing agenda. Nuclear power solves the problem which means it puts the left out of power. How can they mandate a lifestyle and complain about business when the problems are solved? The ?green people? don?t really want endless free inexpensive clean energy. That would end their lifestyle. (Sorry greenies I agree with you on some issues but it?s true.)

I have long noticed the hypocrisy of the left as they drive their SUV?s to work and then do some relatively insignificant thing like recycling a water bottle. They send their chosen elites off in airplanes to go to conferences on global warming. Whatever they do they don?t really solve the problems their so concerned about. They could drive gas powered motorcycles using little fuel that have been available since the beginning of the last century, and they don?t even appear to know about electric motorcycles, but if they did they wouldn?t endorse them because its not a form of centralized mass transportation.

My own view is that all the regulations and alternative energy strategies of the left are not really effective at solving any of our energy problems. But I really don?t think it?s a solution to energy problems that they are after. Again it?s more like a political lifestyle. Nuclear energy offers all the things they supposedly believe in no CO2, no oil, and inexpensive abundant energy produced by mother nature. But instead of favoring it the left and the greenies are busy claiming that nuclear energy is not a renewable energy source. They create their mother-nature concept ?renewable energy?. Does it have a definition? Is it something that works in a cycle? Breeder reactors can create their own fuel. For me that?s good enough, and it?s better than covering half the planet with corn fields.

Critics of nuclear energy point out disposal issues. They make uneducated or manipulative statements like ?do you want to store nuclear waste in your backyard?? The fact is a given families share of the nuclear waste would be immeasurably insignificant and wouldn?t compare, for example, to their share of exposure to pollution from a coal plant. New generation IV plants and disposal methods go a long ways towards solving these waste issues.

NORM stands for naturally occurring radioactive materials, for example, radon exposure in homes built in granite ground. The fact is that NORM accounts for 10,000 times more exposure than nuclear power plants do. (Personally I think it?s more but I didn?t do the math.) In fact coal production also leads to the release of radioactive materials. So does the making and using of fertilizers. The fertilizers used in corn fields used to produce ethanol create radioactive waste. I would guess many more magnitudes worse per Joule of useable energy produced as compared to nuclear energy production. So why does the left prefer ethanol and not nuclear? Because its part of their larger energy solution: Endless hordes of bureaucrats trying to mandate a lifestyle and getting paid to do it.

I would like to point out this is not necessarily an attack on alternative energy as it is on the refusal of the left to endorse an obvious solution: nuclear energy. In addition as explained I favor a variety of energy saving ideas everything from electric motos to LED lighting. Combining these ideas there is no reason we should be using any foreign oil.

    What is Alternative Energy

We need energy to do things in this world. In every aspect of our life, we find ways to harness it and use it in a constructive manner. But conventional sources are getting depleted fast, which leads to a need for renewable energy sources. There are quite a few promising sources that can be considered.

The term “alternative energy” can refer to any energy source that doesn’t burn any fuel or involve the splitting of atoms. Because of the pollution caused by our standard energy supplies, there’s a growing interest in finding good alternative energy sources. Hopefully, this doesn’t stop at wishful thinking.

Renewable energy sources, such as solar power, geothermal energy, wind power, tidal power, and hydroelectric power, are being seen as possible future replacements for conventional and less clean energy sources. Technology is still being researched and developed, to fully maximize their efficiency.

    Solar Power

Among the alternative energy sources in use today, solar energy is possibly the most well known, especially in places where the sun is always shining. The Earth receives a considerably amount of solar energy on a daily basis, but only a small percentage of it is put to good use. It is used to power heating systems for homes and businesses, to run cars, and to operate space satellites. And as research advances, the future looks bright for solar energy.

    Geothermal Energy

Geothermal Energy is produced by the internal heat of the Earth, which could be used to generate steam to run a steam turbine. The turbine would then generate electricity. It could provide supplementary power even if not functioning as the primary source.

    Wind Power

Wind power is one of the cleanest forms of energy production, able to generate electricity without harmful byproducts. The disadvantage is that its use greatly depends on the weather conditions in a particular area.

    Hydroelectric Energy

Tidal and hydroelectric power share the same basic principles in how they generate electricity. They utilize the force of the water’s movement, and convert it into electric power. In hydroelectric plants, water is usually stored behind dams. As soon as the water has been released at a high pressure, it is used to turn the turbine blades below, which are then used to generate electricity.

As technology advances, we become increasingly more capable of harnessing the full potential of our clean and renewable energy sources. It is vital that we continue this research and development, and eventually put an end to the use of fossil fuels or other polluting elements, with their harmful effects on the environment.
