With summer coming, you know you can expect sky-high electric bills. Want to lower your electric bills by tens of hundreds of dollars this summer? You can build your own solar power system and wind power system for your home and see your electric bills drop dramatically. There is no better way to show respect for your environment than by using alternative forms of electricity, and many of these alternate energy products also come with an added tax credit for purchasing them.

Using solar power or wind power is the wave of the future. By capturing these natural resources, you can not only cool and heat your home cheaply; you are also conserving the earth’s resources. A solar power system is non-polluting and its main source of energy, the sun, is plentiful and readily available – for free! Wind is another resource that can generate energy that is like solar power – free and non-polluting. Green energy can help you protect both the environment and your wallet.

Because there are so many benefits to solar power and wind power, a contractor or installer will want to charge you hundreds of thousands of dollars to get the benefits of a solar powers system or wind power system for the home. But you can easily and for less money install a solar and wind power system for your home. It’s not hard to set up your own solar and wind system, and whether you want to move off grid entirely, or only supplement your power, it’s quite easy to set up a system that works for you.

First, you have to make or purchase solar panels. There are different types of solar panels available to deliver solar power to your home. For example, there are different wattages based on how much power you need. Solar panels are the most expensive part of the your solar power system. But there are ways that you can make them cheaply. Additionally, they are essentially the only expense. After you get your solar panels and install them, you will have a complete solar power system and will begin to save money for the life of the panels, which can be many years. The sun doesn’t cost you a dime, but it will certainly save you plenty of them.

Other expenses related to your solar power system are minimal. You will also need to build a box to hold the solar panels. This can be done with inexpensive wood, particle board or other type of durable substance. Additionally, you will want to secure your solar panels to protect them from the elements. They are the most expensive part of your solar power system.

Wind power systems will operate in a similar manner. By capturing the wind, you can also harness mother nature to lower your bills. With wind power, you will need a wind turbine or windmill. While wind is a great source of energy, often people find that a combination of solar power and wind power is optimal to deliver electricity to your home all year long.

Everyone is watching their bills in these economic times. With a small amount of money and a little hard work, you can save thousands on your electric bills by installing a solar power system or a wind power system. By utilizing what mother nature has to offer, you can not only save money, but contribute to the green energy revolution. Instead of being concerned about the planet when you turn on the lights in your home, start feeling good about your electrical source. With wind energy and solar energy you can feel confident that you are protecting the earth.

The Sun and Wind Your Only Choices

There are legitimate reasons to go off grid. Anyone who lives in very rural or remote areas, knows to well about the advantages and disadvantages of going off grid. The costs of local utilities are so high, in most cases it is not a question of going green but rather a purely financial one. Whatever your reason for researching off grid power, your options have now turned green. Solar and/or wind energy are the only options available in this case. Your best bet is solar, unless the area you are looking into is a windy one. Even in that case, I still recommend that solar power be your main source of off grid energy.? Did you know that the small amount that hits your roof, greatly surpasses all the energy that is transported through the utility company electric wires? That is the reason many people who have? switched over to solar power, either go off grid, or sell back to the utility companies for a profit. It is for that reason, installation of a proper system can more than handle all your electricity needs.

There is a reason I prefer solar to wind, when it comes to household energy requirements. Both solar panels and wind turbine rotors are considered to be a form of a collector. Naturally one can see that the area of just one solar panel is much greater than the surface of a small wind rotor with a number of blades? that rotate to turn the electrical generator. While both offer a renewable non- polluting source of energy, it should be noted that solar? has no moving parts to break down, and requires very little maintenance. To properly access? wind flow and generate enough electricity, wind turbines are installed on high towers that rise above any trees or surrounding buildings. It is advisable to get your neighbors permission before installing such a structure. For whatever reason you chose not to have a high enough tower, it won?t matter when it comes to generating adequate energy. It is better not to install a wind turbine in the first place, rather than to not have it high enough. There is simply little energy in low winds that you can convert into usable electricity.

The Sun Will Always Shine

Off Grid Solar Is the Future
Today we are finally realizing that the future of the Earth depends on weaning mankind off of petroleum and other fossil fuels. Here is another fact that will astound you. The entire total of? fossil fuels on Earth can be matched by the solar energy output of the sun on Earth, in less than three days. It is not politics and greed alone that has kept us from pursuing solar energy until recent times. The technology for home solar has greatly improved.? It started in the mid 1970’s, with the advancements in Photovoltaic applications. Photovoltaic, also referred to as PV, is according to? Wikipedia, the field of technology and research related to the application of solar cells for energy by converting solar energy (sunlight, including ultra violet radiation) directly into electricity. The development of transistor and accompanying semiconductor technology, has drastically? increased photovoltaic power and efficiency.? Today, commonly available solar panels are 12% efficient, which is four times greater than only a few years ago.

Another very important aspect is that contrary to most contractors? misconception it is not a difficult installation. An average home has more than enough roof area to produce enough solar electricity to supply all of its power needs. All that is needed is an inverter,? which converts direct current (DC) power from the solar cells to alternating current (AC), which are what most home appliances run on. A solar home, except for the obvious changes to the roof, will look and operate just like any home does when it was connected to the power line.

Let the Sun Free You From the Grid

Do-It- Yourself and Save
There is another misconception that needs clearing up. You should know is that contrary to popular belief, residential solar installation is very affordable. You don?t need to hire a builder or solar contractor, which could run you tens of thousands of dollars. With the correct instruction and guidance you can do-it-yourself. You must be careful however, because many instructional books and guides are? confusing and have complicated diagrams. So before getting started you must find the correct step-by-step instructions. You don’t need to be a builder.? Anybody can make solar panels. It’s really quite easy to make solar panels once you know a few industry secrets. You must make sure that the guide you chose has step by step instruction, detailed diagrams, plenty of pictures and video teaching aids.

So how much will it actually cost to make your own solar panels?? You can, with the right instruction, build your solar panels for less than $200 each. I suggest that if you don?t have the time or you?re just not willing to put in the effort, you can hire a couple of competent handy men to implement the project, and still save thousands. Real people, not corporations, have come up with efficient and extremely affordable programs that walk you through step by step instructions, on how to build and install renewable energy for your home.

My own extensive research has helped me narrow down the best of the best instructional guides, complete with blueprints, photos, and in the case of my number one choice, video for that do-it-yourself solar power and/or wind turbine project you might be considering. Obviously, I can?t go into great detail in this article, but if I have piqued your interest, you can get all the facts of this or many other ideas on how to go green at my site? Possibly GREEN. There you?ll find the right ways to live a greener life, including information on how to convert your car inexpensively, and even find green jobs in your area.

Since the electrical bills are going higher today, folk must be ready to find tactics in order that they can save cash. Now, rather than paying those corporations that provide electrical energy, there are alternative sources that you can choose from. One of them is thru building those homemade wind power generators.

You can definitely research on these systems so you will be ready to expand your knowledge about them and ultimately, you’ll be in a position to adopt the system into your house. Not only can you able to save money but you’ll also be turning your home green as this generator is not harmful to the environment.

These home made wind energy generators will only cost you about 200 dollars and so you will definitely agree that this is an extremely low price as opposed to what you’ve been paying the electric companies all these years now. In a matter of some months, you’ll be ready to get back what you have invested since this system will not require you more maintenances and additional materials.

You can log on and as quickly as you get the instructions, you won’t find it tough to implement them. In addition, you may find the materials for a very cheap price and a number of them will even be free.

The statement that says that you can get free energy is naturally extraordinarily pleasing to hear. This is a reason why you can wish to commence building your own home made wind energy generator so you can start your cash saving campaign.

Domestic wind turbines are growing up everywhere now generally because folk are starting to see discernible advantages of installing them. Houses as well as businesses adopt this technology as an or source of energy that is not just green, but everlasting. With so much uncertainty around us such around us like fluctuating energy costs and financial turmoil, it is mandatory now to look at clean energy sources like domestic wind turbines even for homes.

Benefits of domestic Wind Power turbines

Except for helping businesses and families save on power and water charges each month, the use of wind power reduces our dependance of carbon-based fuels.

Some homes combine the use of wind and solar electricity for a total clean energy solution.

Costs and availability of components

Domestic wind turbines do not costs thousands of greenbacks to be installed. This is possible because lots of the elements required are available now at your local hardware store or on the web. What you really need is a step-by-step guide to help you build your first wind energy system.

If you have land space of an acre or more, it is ideal for such systems where you can install bigger wind blades for increased power generation. But as I discussed, you can still install smaller ones on rooftops.

The availability of wind, glaringly, and wind speed is critical for efficient power generation. You’ll find out the wind speed in your neighborhood by doing a fast search on Google. Generally, a wind speed of 10 miles an hour or more is sufficient.
.

It could be “all the rage” today to jump on the bandwagon and need to use replenish-able energy to help save the planet, but in reality, how do you use the earth’s renewable resources and save cash on our own energy costs? How does one basically get to employ a renewable energy like the sun or wind to power your home? Do you get a professional installer to put up some solar energy panels or a wind energy generator? Will you take the leap and try to do it yourself and hope you actually finish the project and end up with a usable system? There are many questions about this topic but we will try to give you some answers.

Good stories is, green energy is rising and that makes it simpler for the typical person to setup and install your own clean energy system.

The truth is that it isn’t hard not hard to build wind turbines and many homeowners are taking the challenge to build their own wind turbines as an inexpensive means to using renewable energies. It isn’t exactly snap-your-fingers straightforward to build wind turbines either, but with the proper plans and a galvanized builder you can be building air turbines in no time.

When the wind dies down (or doesn’t exist at all) then solar energy panels are a great option and frequently solar energy panels and wind energy generators are used together to generate a home’s power. Solar electricity is an example of the finest and most trustworthy replenish-able energy sources available. The difficulty most amateur environmental soldiers find is that the cost of professionally installed solar power systems is way outside their budget and it could take well over ten years to see a return on their investment.

You might be thinking that building wind turbines and/or solar cells on your own will cost thousands of dollars much like a professional system. You would be stunned just how inexpensive building your own solar or wind energy system can be. With the right plans, you can build your own wind energy generator for between $180-200 and less if you can find some pieces to recycle from other used apparatus, as an example. The key is to discover a plan that works for your goals.

There are numerous different DIY plans available online today. You need to make sure that you get complete plans that include

? Complete instructions and diagrams

? resources to get certain parts you can need ( best to avoid plans that require purchasing parts from specialised internet sites since this can cost extra money )

The key to keeping costs down and completing any project lies in good planning, and the right manual will help you do just that. Look for proven, experienced and moderately priced replenish-able energy manuals. You do not have to spend hundreds, and some of the finest manuals available are terribly creative in their use of materials found at your local hardware store or by employing recycled materials.

So, for a little bit of elbow grease, you can make your own electricity for years ahead, help the environment and save money with a ” renewable energy system.

.

Mankind is Addicted to Fossil Fuel

As a nation we have had our chances to promote alternative energy in the past. For mostly political and financial reasons ?
we have been left with, petroleum and its derivatives, natural gas, and coal, as our energy choices, with natural gas being the only so called clean alternative. Almost every attempt to break from the grasp of fossil fuels has been met with extreme opposition. From the beginning politics and greed has molded our future in regards to energy.

When Henry Ford’s Model T was first built, it came in a variation that allowed the driver to switch the carburetor to run the engine on farm-made ethyl alcohol. Most farms at that time were equipped with stills so this allowed the driver to refuel when needed. This did not sit well with John D. Rockefeller, who had even backed Ford financially. His Standard Oil Company had a monopoly on gasoline and he wanted all automobiles to run on it. Ford and the rest of the industry just wanted to sell their autos to everyone, and the most readily available fuel was distilled alcohol. What Rockefeller did next was brilliant. His actions however, would change the entire history of not just the United States but the entire world, leading to the energy and security problems of today.

Rockefeller saw an opportunity to take advantage of the Alcohol Temperance Movement that had been trying to limit the use of alcohol for more than 25 years. He gave the equivalent of $60million in today’s dollars to an obscure group pushing for the complete elimination of alcohol called the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. Rockefeller took a stand against alcohol and turned what was essentially a local effort to curb consumption into a national movement that eventually led to prohibition. He made sure that the bill included anything distilled, alcoholic or not. Thus making sure that all vehicles would run on his gasoline. His greed has brought us to where we are today.

You Can Harness the Power of the Sun and Wind

Our Future Must Be a Clean One
Today we are finally realizing that the future of the Earth depends on weaning mankind off of petroleum and other fossil fuels. So does alternative energy make sense for the average household? Only you can decide what is right for you. Determine how much your energy bill is and how cost effective a renewable energy system will cost. I can tell you that regardless of what you have heard, or even have been quoted, solar and/or wind is more affordable than you think. I will cover that shortly, but first, let us explore the advantages and disadvantages of installing a workable renewable energy system.

The obvious reason for considering solar is fact that it is a renewable non- polluting source of energy. You should also know that it has no moving parts to break down, and requires very little maintenance. Another very important aspect is that contrary to most contractors? misconception it is not a difficult installation. For those of you who live or are considering living in extremely remote or rural areas if electricity is available it is usually expensive. In those cases solar power is undoubtedly the right way to go. However, even in areas where power lines are nearby, solar may still be a viable alternative to being connected to a power company.

Small wind turbines are designed for individual homes, farms, and small businesses, and are electric generators that utilize wind energy to produce clean, emissions-free renewable power. They are defined as having rated capacities of up to 100 kilowatts. So if you were thinking that one wind generator will power your house, I?m? sorry but it won?t. Keep in mind that the wind turbine is simply a collector just like a solar panel is. In this case the collector is the spinning rotor, made up of a number of blades that rotate to turn the electrical generator. Small blades result in a small rotor diameter, which translates into a small collector area, which further translates into small amounts of generated electricity.

To properly access? wind flow and generate enough electricity, wind turbines are installed on high towers that rise above any trees or surrounding buildings. Your roof top might not be the right place unless a tower is utilized.

The Cost Cannot Be to Great

Do-It-Yourself and save

The cost of both solar and wind power installation can run into the tens of thousands if left in the hands of contractors. I mentioned a viable option that will save you tens of thousands of dollars. I am referring to making this a do-it-yourself project. There are kits available that will cut your cost in half. Even better than that there are online instructional guides that will walk you through the entire process step by step. For those of you who don?t have either the time or the inclination to do it all yourself, I might suggest that you take advantage of the current work shortage by hiring a couple of competent handymen to construct the entire project. I bet with the right instructions, you could bring it in for a tenth of the original estimate.

My own extensive research has helped me narrow down the best of the best instructional guides, complete with blueprints, photos, for that do-it-yourself wind and/or solar power project you might be considering. Obviously, I can?t go into great detail in this article, but if I have piqued your interest, you can get all the facts of this or many other ideas on how to go green at my site Possibly GREEN. There you?ll find the right ways to live a greener life, including information on how to convert your car inexpensively, and even find green jobs in your area.

Wind Energy Outlook for North America

This report analyzes the opportunities and challenges facing wind power in North America ? particularly turbine manufacturers ? in the current economic and political climate. It assesses drivers of growth include rising demand for electricity, pro-wind regulatory environments, advantages over other renewables, and technological innovations driving down lifetime costs of producing wind power. Key players in the wind energy business are profiled and the report also includes rich quantitative analysis including market sizing, segmentation, market share analysis of top turbine vendors, and growth forecasts for the United States and Canada through 2015. ( http://www.bharatbook.com/Market-Research-Reports/Wind-Energy-Outlook-for-North-America.html )

Wind Power Generation Capacity and Turbine Deployments: Market Analysis and Forecast
In 2008, United States wind power generation capacity passed the 25 gigawatt mark by adding over 8 gigawatts from the year before, which represented the largest individual gain of any country in the world. This growth rate of 50% exceeded that of the year before, indicating that the market is still relatively young and has room to grow, despite the economic slowdown. The market for wind turbines will continue to grow through 2015 driven by new generation additions as well as replacements of smaller, older turbines with new, larger, more efficient turbines. In 2007, generation capacity from renewable sources made up only 4% of the world?s electricity sources, but 16% of new electricity generation capacity additions were from renewables with wind power making up more than 80% of these gains by renewables.

The year 2009 will be a defining moment for wind power markets around the world. The global economic crisis that began in late 2008 has thrown the industry into confusion, along with most other global industries. Two competing market views exist, and representatives from each camp were interviewed for this report across the wind power value chain, such as components suppliers, turbine OEMs, wind developers, and power providers.

Key questions addressed:

* What will be the installed wind generation capacity by 2015 in North America?
* How many turbines will be required to meet wind generation capacity goals, including replacing aging fleets?
* What are the key industry growth drivers and challenges inhibiting growth of wind power?
* What are the economics of turbine manufacturing, installation, operations, and maintenance?
* What technological advances may drive down the lifetime costs of wind power production?
* What market shares do the top turbine manufacturers have of installed wind generation capacity?

Who needs this report?

* Wind turbine manufacturers (OEM and components)
* Wind energy developers
* Wind turbine raw materials suppliers
* Wind energy investors
* Wind energy EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) providers
* Government agencies and regulatory officials
* Industry associations

First, we should examine how this boom came to pass in the first place. For one, wind energy is quickly becoming a popular idea. It?s one of the most rapidly expanding sources of energy in both the U.S. and Europe. In fact, out of all of the new electricity generation installed in the U.S. last year, wind energy made up 42 percent. This figure was no doubt due to the fact that there was a fifty percent increase in installed wind capacity, with enough megawatts coming online to power two million homes. Another key factor to the jump in jobs in the industry is the fact that in 24 states, new wind turbine and component manufacturing facilities were announced, opened, or expanded.

Texas continues to lead the country in megawatts of wind generation, but 2008 saw Iowa (which, like Minnesota, generates seven percent of its electricity from wind power) surpass California for number two on the list. Other states that are notable for their wind power are Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Minnesota. According to the study, Texas has the largest wind farms installed and Indiana is growing the fastest in wind energy (based on percentage).

With expansion and growth happening in so many different states, it should come as no surprise that wind power jobs spiked dramatically last year. When an industry gets bigger, an increase in manpower is required to ensure that it runs smoothly. Wind energy is no different. Expansion allows the need for more skilled workers in different areas. The workforce is greatly benefited by this expansion. For example, people who are capable of manufacturing turbines and their components will be needed. In fact, manufacturers of the turbines and their components created 13,000 jobs alone last year. Expansion also creates jobs for people who can both build and install turbines. It also creates jobs for people to operate and maintain them. Then there are all of the people who don?t have a hand in the actual workings of the wind turbines but who are just as important: the lawyers, the marketing departments, the administrative assistants. It takes countless people in a wide array of different positions to make the industry run.

Like any industry these days, the future is unclear. While there are many bright spots, the current state of the economy makes it difficult to predict what this year will bring. Some say it?s unlikely that 2009 will see the same gains 2008 saw. Layoffs have hit companies that produce turbines and their components; developers are having a more difficult time financing projects. Since wind energy is initially more expensive to develop than other power generators; interest in developing new wind farms will likely decrease during tough economic times. Less interest in developing wind farms will in turn lead to less jobs being generated in the field.

Still, others maintain that the growth can continue. They site factors like the economic stimulus plan that put billions of dollars aside for alternative energy and President Obama?s desire to dramatically increase our reliance on alternative energy sources. In fact, in a recent trip to Iowa, President Obama announced plans to allow off-shore wind energy production?a step clean energy giant Spain has also recently taken. Echoing the U.S. Department of Energy?s findings that by 2030 wind power could provide twenty percent of our country?s electricity, President Obama went on to say that this new step in alternative energy could create 250,000 jobs.

Having a President that is so dedicated to clean, alternative energy sources is a big bonus for the wind power industry. With the economy leaving everything shaky, the best thing any industry can hope for right now is high-level support. To continue at the level of success the wind energy industry is currently enjoying, policies need to be put in place and money needs to be committed to the cause. Luckily for the industry, they have the best ally and spokesperson they could ask for in President Obama.

The main and most crucial disadvantages of wind power: what they are and how they can be overcomed.

Following in the tradition of Don Quixote, the immortal creation of Cervantes, we are finding quite a few causes to complain about windmills and wind power systems. Now that the novelty of the system has worn out a little and the initial enthusiasm surrounding wind power systems has also diminished somewhat, we have started to take a closer look at wind power systems and have unearthed a few disadvantages of the system. Let’s take a closer look.

Wind power, above everything else, continues to remain one of the best alternative measures of generating power and electricity. The clean, green and non-polluting nature of the energy that it produces has made wind power immensely popular with those among us who care about the environment and wish to leave behind a better world for their children. Some even claimed wind power to be better than solar power as the former continued working even after sunset. The energy produced was also virtually free and some wind power systems worked so well that they completely replaced the need for having any other source of power. However, there are two disadvantages. First, the high cost of the wind turbines and secondly, the need to find the right location in order to make such a system work properly. While turbines, battery banks and electronic controllers are quite expensive by most standards, to make matters worse, setting up a wind power is quite a daunting task by itself. Moreover, there are maintenance hassles to take care of on a regular basis.

The main disadvantage, however, is perhaps due to the highly unpredictable nature of wind itself. While it may be blowing fair and strong one moment, the very next could see a sudden drop in its power. And as everybody knows, wind power systems need fairly strong winds blowing consistently to produce any appreciable amount of energy.

However, even though such disadvantages exist, the fact remains that wind power still packs quite a punch as far as its popularity is concerned. In fact, wind power has so many things going in its favor that its advantages far outweigh the handful of disadvantages that it might have. It has to be mentioned in this context that most of the so called disadvantages are actually technical challenges – this is natural considering the fact that wind power as a technology is still evolving. With continuing research and given some more time, the technology will surely improve and eventually, make these disadvantages disappear.

The eco-friendly and economical nature of wind power still makes it the top bet in alternative power sources. Just by switching over to wind power, you will be surprised at how much savings you can actually make on your monthly energy consumption bills! And above all, you can also keep the environment clean and green. No wonder these are still the best reasons why millions around the world are turning to wind power every year.

Continuing research in the field of alternative energy production, especially solar and wind power systems is making these systems more powerful, more dependable and increasingly affordable. It will not be long before all the current disadvantages of using wind power will be gone for good and it will find even wider acceptance around the globe. By embracing wind and solar power, mankind can stop the reckless exploitation of fossil fuels for energy production, curb environmental pollution and halt global warming by eliminating harmful emissions, and thus pave the way for a greener tomorrow for our children.

We have to rely on clean energy sources more and more because the reserve of fossil fuel that we have is getting diminished day by day. The best time to end the depletion is now. Mankind should start looking into alternatives such as solar power and wind power now.

Thanks to all the technological advancements made in recent years in the field of wind energy systems, you can install a wind power system in your home quite easily nowadays. In fact, a completely functional wind power system can be set up all by oneself. However, consulting a good step-by-step guide is strongly recommended to ensure a trouble-free and successful installation. Just ensure that you have the knowledge to help you select the right location, buy the right equipment at the right prices, wire the system correctly, and of course, take all the necessary safety precautions.

It has been said time and time again we are all blessed with natural resources. But beyond this, we are all also contains resources necessary for the mass production of power, many of which are renewable, meaning that they are easily replaceable.

There were people who thought highly of the environment and who criticized the usage of carbon & fossil fuels that create disaster to the world environment. They are now very satisfied by the combination of solar panels and wind turbines. This?actually provides a very safe and sound supply of energy. As for the summer season, solar panels can make use of sunlight and as for the winter season, wind turbines can work to fulfill household needs.

Solar Home Energy, Magnetic Generators and Wind Power Energy are the three main alternate electricity systems available today for the common home. They are all very economical and easy to build and setup and can be purchased as a kit or plans, all the materials can be found in any hardware store.

Solar Home Energy

Creating your own system to use solar energy in your home may seem very difficult, but it is something that the average homeowner can do. Solar lights and other solar home products are, indeed, environmentally friendly. But you do not need to consider yourself an environmentalist to realize the benefits of using solar powered products.

Recent advancements in technology have enhanced the efficiency of solar panels and enable them to store the sun’s solar energy even in relatively dark and cloudy conditions. These advancements in technology provided a good solution for installing solar panels in our homes.

Being cost effective is a new concept when it comes to alternative energy. The high cost associated with solar and wind energy has kept it out of the residential backyards. But not anymore! If you would really like to install a solar system in your house, you can find more information on some of the home made energy guiding websites found on the internet.

Magnetic Generators

Many of us live in areas that have neither and we are now able to generate our own electricity at home with the use of magnetic energy generators. This technology has been around for decades, but due to the interest in DIY projects in wind and solar generation, the technology has been simplified for domestic use.

A zero point magnetic power generator sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is. Most people recognize that magnets have a field that has power. The fact that a magnet can stick to a fridge should be enough proof to show that there is energy that you can extract from this. This type of technology sounds like it is out of the reach of the common man, but in reality it is much simpler for an individual to set up than for a utilities company to use.

Although this is an excellent stand alone system to implement into your home in order to generate clean, free energy, it is also an excellent addition to your solar or wind generation system.

Wind Power Energy

Home wind turbines are a great way to produce electricity that is 100% clean and can supply plenty of power in areas where wind is plentiful. Coupled with solar power and storage batteries(see below), you can produce excess electricity that you can sell back to the grid! Like solar power, wind is a renewable and clean energy resource, so there are government subsidies and tax breaks that you can take advantage of.

Availability and efficiency are only few of the many of the advantages of wind energy that would make homeowners or even commercial parties to be inclined to the widely used approach of renewable energy. And the best way to power your home with out spending much of your savings is to build your own wind power system. With an investment in just two of these three technologies, you will easily be able to generate more electricity than your home requires and will be able to earn from your investment.

In conclusion residential solar energy through the use of do it yourself solar panels is not a pipedream anymore; it is a realisable goal for anyone concerned with their energy costs and the future energy problems of the planet on which we live.
